Some people take self care to mean, going to the spa every once in a while, others feel it's meeting up with friends for a drink once in a blue moon.
While I appreciate it means different things to different people, to me, it means, doing what is best for your physical and mental health.
It's not only the lovely things we want to do, like having a treat every now again. It's also the not so lovely things that we need to do, like going to see the dentist for that check up you should have booked a year ago.
